This project was a major renovation of a existing 1920s era Bungalow in the vibrant Montrose neighborhood in Houston. The Bungalow was in major disrepair and was in need of extensive structural repairs as well as major cosmetic upgrades. The design was able to utilize the salvageable portions of the existing structure and plumbing, while updating the home with modern spaces and finishes. By utilizing the existing as much as possible, with strategic design interventions, the design saved in both cost and permitting time and expenses.
